Playing Catchup

I know I said that I would try to write more often, but it is getting harder and harder to have down time. Lily is now 9.5 months old and it getting so big! She just had her 9 month check up and is 20.5 pound, 27 inches long and doing great. Some more miles stones that she has reached: 1. She is crawling all over the place. 2. She pulls up and reaches to walk while holding on to something with only one hand. 3. She has one tooth already pretty much in and another one that just popped through. 4. She shakes her head "no", (not sure if it really means no though). 5. She eats really people food now too! Feeding her is getting easier too because she pretty much eats what we do. I'm still breast feeding but her portion size is getting lower...however, it could also be from mommy jumping and yelling "ouch!" when she bites me with her new tooth. Little stinker.

So, since the new year, we have had crazy weather. Crazy. Weather!

Snow, ice, sleet, and 70 degrees... in just one week! I was fortunate to be able to work from home since Lily's daycare was closed all week and then one day this week. I wonder what parents do if they can't work from home? Have to go in, pay for a babysitter and then still pay for daycare? I don't know, so I'm just thankful that I was able to spend the week with her... even though it is really difficult to work with a little one at home. Almost impossible. But we got to stay in our pajamas all day, turned the den into a toy wonderland and watched all episodes of The Wonderpets. Good times. :)

Here are some new pictures of Lily playing with daddy, the snow, and other random ones. Enjoy!
